Destiny 2: the Solstice Returns

Bungie has recently announced the return of a new summer event for Destiny 2, which will be held from today until August 27 and will be available to everyone, offering new weapons, new armor, and a new memento. Below are the details released by the software house:

Guardians will be able to complete the Solstice Seal and earn the Flamekeeper title by completing the event challenges. By fending off waves of enemies in the scorching activity “The Bonfire Party”, players will obtain the eye-catching glow for Solstice armor, a jewel for any Guardian’s wardrobe. Celebrate in style with new rewards, including the new Lucky Star bow, the first Solstice memento, and the Sublime armor sets.

Additionally, by completing the event challenge “Fuel to the Fire III,” players will unlock the option to buy the limited edition Bear Walker skateboard through Bungie’s Rewards program.

After the epic battle with the Witness in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, the universe can turn a page: new wonders and adventures await the guardians. In Destiny 2: Echoes, a mysterious object has materialized, later falling onto the surface of Nessus. In Act II, which began on July 16, players have explored the depths of Nessus to investigate the figure holding the first Echo. Both Act I and Act II remain available for those who wish to experience them. Act III, set to launch on August 27, will offer new activities, stories, and rewards.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, current-gen, and old-gen consoles. Recently, it seems that the development team has been working on an unannounced project that has been recently canceled, known by the codename Payback.
