The studio J.C. Staff has announced that the anime Duel Masters LOST will officially debut on October 4th. The anime, based on the original manga written by Shigenobu Matsumoto and illustrated by Yoh Kanebayashi, is about to make its debut and will feature the work of prominent personalities in the industry such as Toshinori Fukushima, Yoichi Kato, and Chikara Hashizume. Duel Masters LOST is the new series set in the universe of Duel Masters and is essentially set in a sort of alternate reality where the original ending of the 2022 anime titled Duel Masters WIN Duel Wars is shown and what would have happened if the protagonist, Win Kirifuda, had been defeated and lost his memory as a consequence.
Here is the official synopsis of Duel Masters LOST: Win Kirifuda has enrolled in the Maihama Academy, a school completely dedicated to the world of dueling. Initially convinced he could lead a dream life by dueling every day with others, he discovers that school life is more boring than he expected and therefore decides to form a club of the strongest duelists to fully enjoy his passion. Meanwhile, the four kings of dueling (the D4), the ambitious Prince Kaiser, and a mysterious entity that controls the institution from behind the scenes make their entrance, which will lead Win to seek answers to the various mysteries surrounding him during his time at the academy.
