Today the Playism Game Show took place, during which 9 announcements were made regarding the Japanese publisher’s games. They are:
- Homura Hime
The 3D action game Homura Hime from Taiwanese indie studio Crimson Dusk will be released in early 2025.
- Valkyrie of Phantasm
Valkyrie of Phantasm, the Touhou Project fan game by Areazero currently in Steam Early Access, will receive a major update on September 10, 2024 that will add Japanese voice acting and other significant features.
- Metal Bringer
Metal Bringer, the new roguelite action game from the developer of Samurai Bringer, Alphawing, will be released this winter.
- Outrider Mako
The 2D top-down action game Outrider Mako, where packages are delivered to the gods of another world, will be released in 2025.
- Million Depth
PLAYISM will publish Million Depth, a deep-diving strategy game in which players explore an underground world a million levels deep.
- HAKURA: Beyond the Stars
PLAYISM will publish HAKURA: Beyond the Stars, a new sci-fi action RPG where players explore unique planets throughout the galaxy, developed by the team behind Giraffe and Annika, atelier mimina.
- Nitro Express
Nitro Express, the 2D action game with firearms featuring the cute girls from the Special Vehicle Disposal Team of Nitro City in the Special Administrative Region of Tokyo, will be released in 2025.
- Misao
The horror adventure game Misao, in which players search for a missing girl in a school haunted by strange phenomena, will be updated with a 2024 HD Remaster on August 15.
- The Exit 8
The Exit 8 is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
