Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team: Arrives on Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack

It has been announced by Nintendo through a tweet on X that another new game will be added to the catalog of Game Boy Advance titles for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. The title that will be added is Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team and will arrive among the Game Boy titles in a week, on August 9, and from that moment anyone with the higher subscription will be able to play the game.

For those who are not familiar with the title, it is a grid-based dungeon crawler where the goal of the game is to complete missions, from rescuing certain Pokémon to finding specific items, and to do this, players must navigate through dungeons filled with hostile Pokémon, searching for the staircase square that allows access to the next floor. The team consists of a leader and up to three additional Pokémon, who fight automatically. If the leader is defeated, the player instantly exits the dungeon and loses all money and a large portion of items.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team was first released in Europe on November 10, 2006, for Game Boy Advance and was part of a duo of titles. The second was released simultaneously for Nintendo DS and is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team. If you missed any news, we direct you to the main page of VGMAG. Below is Nintendo’s tweet.
