The publisher Arc Games has unveiled Fellowship, a title defined as a multiplayer online dungeon adventure (“MODA”), developed by Chief Rebel, a new video game studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, comprising industry veterans. You can watch the announcement trailer at the bottom of the news.
The game will have a Closed Alpha playtest on Steam starting from Thursday, August 15 until Tuesday, August 20. The team is looking for MMO, MOBA, and ARPG fans to join the playtest and provide feedback to help develop the game from its earliest stages. The full release is then expected on PC in 2025, and it will be a premium title, not free-to-play or subscription-based.
The developers indicate that with this game they are taking elements from MMO, MOBA, and ARPG, including endgame dungeon raids, a diverse roster of heroes, team-focused cooperative gameplay, and epic loot, to provide players with a unique and challenging dungeon crawling PvE experience, while also being accessible. Fellowship will be a premium title.
From the Steam page, more information comes about the “holy trinity” to form the ultimate team of tanks, healers, and damage dealers to face hordes of enemies and imposing bosses. In the game, players must work together with their friends to overcome the most difficult challenges, creating bonds. Players will also be able to showcase their individual skills in competitive leaderboards that will display their rank within the Fellowship.
