In a few days, Star Wars Bounty Hunter will be available, a remaster of the 2002 original for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The game will be released on Thursday August 1, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. To build up some hype the publisher and development team Aspyr Media have released the launch trailer, which you can watch below.
As stated in the description of the Steam page, in this third-person action-adventure, the player takes on the role of Jango Fett, the first clone of the Grand Army of the Republic, hired to capture an unhinged Dark Jedi. The story of the legendary bounty hunter unfolds before the events of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, the 2002 film directed by George Lucas. Players will thus face opponents head-on and navigate acrobatic battles in an adaptation optimized for today’s hardware and consoles. Among the available weapons: a twin blaster, a flamethrower, a cable launcher, and the innate rage of the Mandalorians.
