It seems that the remake Mafia Definitive Edition by 2K will be available from August on Game Pass. Let’s remember that no release date has been announced yet for the new chapter of the series, which will likely be a prequel to the saga.
This is according to the leaker Nate The Hate, who revealed the information on ResetEra. The insider did not specify whether it is the first or second part, or if new content will be included. Mafia Definitive Edition was released in 2020 for PC and old-gen and features Tommy Angelo, who arrives in Los Heaven to pursue the American dream, first finding a job as a taxi driver and then ending up as a gangster for the Salieri family. The remake also introduces the FreeRide mode and the gameplay is very reminiscent of Mafia 3, also including Classic difficulty.
