ONE PIECE ODYSSEY is now available for Nintendo Switch with a Deluxe Edition that includes the additional scenario “Reunion of Memories”. The game, already available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, features some exclusive characters created by Eiichiro Oda himself, the author of ONE PIECE.
A sudden storm separates Luffy and the Straw Hat crew from the Grand Line! After reaching the mysterious island of Waford, the crew is scattered. Luffy embarks on a fantastic adventure to reunite with his friends and leave the island. New and dangerous enemies, terrifying forces of nature, and a journey into the “World of Memory” of the Straw Hat crew await you! Immerse yourself in the world of pirates like never before with the new Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes the additional scenario “Reunion of Memories,” accessible once the main game is completed.
Players will be able to take on the roles of each member of the Straw Hat crew, utilizing their unique abilities for exploration or turn-based combat, which will also feature some ONE PIECE-style variants, such as the Scramble Area Battle and Dramatic Scene systems. The Scramble Area Battle system allows players to move through multiple combat zones with individual characters to choose their best strategy by exploiting enemy weaknesses.
The Dramatic Scene system enables players to confront battles dedicated to the most memorable moments of ONE PIECE, such as when the members of the Straw Hat crew get into trouble and need to be rescued, with the opportunity to earn greater experience by completing such tasks. The Deluxe Edition also includes additional outfits for the characters, such as travel outfits for the Straw Hat crew and the travel outfit of the King Sniper.
