The publisher V Publishing and the developer Bad Ridge Games have announced the release date of Mirthwood, a life simulation RPG set in the Medieval period.

Welcome to Mirthwood, an enchanting life simulation RPG. Escaping from a war-torn continent, your arrival in a new land offers you a fresh start. Explore an immersive medieval fantasy world that allows you to choose who you want to be.
Features: Manage your farm, build a homestead, plant and harvest crops, raise animals, and upgrade your buildings to craft items and equipment. Build a peaceful life for your family and trade your goods from town to town.
Explore: Mirthwood features a rich and fully realized world, with beautiful hand-drawn graphics, immersive sound effects, and an original soundtrack. Explore an open world made up of six different regions and three distinct towns, with plenty to discover and uncover. Fight against storms, winters, and diseases with survival elements as you progress through an enchanting world.
Combat: Take up a sword or ready your bow in real-time combat, Mirthwood will pit you against a variety of enemies, from bandits to werewolves. Equip yourself with a collection of weapons, armor, and clothing. Level up and specialize your character in your chosen combat class to enhance your ability to survive the dangers of Bleakwood.
Adventure: The ecosystem of Mirthwood allows for organic storytelling. Face new situations and conditions generated by the living world. Take on quests, encounter dynamic events throughout the world, and investigate mysteries. Seek rare and epic loot across the world and find new adventures along the way.
Socialize: Meet and befriend (or insult) the inhabitants and NPCs of Mirthwood with a new Sims-style interaction system. Establish and cultivate a relationship with any NPC, unlock new social interactions as your relationships grow, and discover quests and tasks. The other inhabitants of the Free Lands have their lives to live and will carry on with their days and nights in a fully simulated world.
