With Sonic X Shadow Generations set to release in a few months, it is reasonable to assume that Sega will begin revealing new details about the remaster more rapidly in the coming weeks. However, before that happens, small details continue to leak, as always. An update to the official game eShop page has revealed the estimated file size on Nintendo Switch.
According to the official eShop page, Sonic X Shadow Generations will have an estimated size of around 13.1 GB of storage space. In comparison, Sonic Colors Ultimate required 6.8 GB of space, although it was, of course, a smaller game in terms of scale. For Sonic Frontiers from 2022, you needed 15.3 GB of storage for the download. The download requirements for Sonic X Shadow Generations on other platforms have not yet been revealed, although one can imagine that the game will be significantly larger than on Switch.
