Valorant Console Open Beta Released

After the closed beta phase that started on June 14, as of July 26, Valorant is available to everyone without the need for a code, with the open beta on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The open beta is available in Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan, and Brazil.

As stated in the FAQs on the official website, once in queue, players on Xbox and PlayStation will be able to play together, but will not be able to join players on PC. This is because Riot places a strong emphasis on competitive integrity, and this is their way of ensuring the experience remains fair and consistent for players on both console and PC.

Regarding progress once the game officially releases on console:

You will have the same account for console and PC, and all progress you make while playing on any platform will always be linked to your account. Therefore, every battle pass progress, agents you recruit, and skins you purchase will be available on both console and PC, and will remain linked to your account once the beta ends. When you log in on a console, you will also find everything you have already earned or purchased on PC.

Below you can see the post on Valorant’s official X account announcing that the open beta on console is available as of today, July 26.
