In a recent interview with Dexerto, Associate Game Director Pawel Sasko, speaking about Cyberpunk 2, stated that the same mistakes made in the development of Cyberpunk 2077 will not be repeated, and that the team has completely changed its development pipeline. Here are his statements:
“We want to make sure we don’t repeat the same mistakes, and to achieve this, our development processes (i.e., the pipeline) have been heavily modified.” Recently, Pawel also spoke in another interview about The Witcher 4 and how the development team is currently working with Epic Games to make improvements to Unreal Engine 5. As for Cyberpunk 2, there is still no news, and considering the volume of projects the software house is currently working on, we doubt the game will be released anytime soon; the title is currently shrouded in mystery.
We remind you that after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the development team has undergone several changes in terms of internal staff, many of those who worked on 2077 have left, and in the meantime, a lot of new people have been hired, so the current CD Projekt RED is not the same as the one that launched Cyberpunk 2077.
We remind you that Cyberpunk 2077 is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4. Have you tried the game after the release of the latest colossal patch and the Phantom Liberty expansion? What do you think about it?
