Despite not yet being officially announced by Cold Iron Studios, the first interesting details about Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 are emerging, thanks to a document that appeared on the Reddit forum.
Here are all the juicy details:
The game is currently in development under the code name Project Moncado, and it will have significantly improved gameplay mechanics compared to the first installment. It will have an 8-12 hour campaign that can be played in cooperative mode with another player.
According to the document, there will also be predefined characters from the previous title, each with unique characteristics and equipment. There are no plans for loot boxes or microtransactions, and there are currently no plans for post-launch DLC. Note that Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 has not been officially announced yet, so many of the details leaked in this document may not be confirmed. We’ll have to wait for official communication from the development team to learn more.
