Pokémon TCG Pocket: a Venusaur-themed event is now available

The Pokémon Company has announced a new event, available from today, themed around Venusaur for Pokémon TCG Pocket.

The event format is similar to the previous one dedicated to Lapras. Players can challenge the CPU with four different decks based on Bulbasaur and Petilil, increasing in difficulty, earning fixed and random rewards, including the chance to obtain special packs containing promotional cards. The cards in question are: Haunter, Jigglypuff, Onix, Greninja, and Venusaur Full Art. All these cards are exclusive to the event and cannot be obtained by any other means.

Here’s a description of the game:

In this title, players can open two expansion packs each day at no cost to collect Pokémon cards, featuring both classic and completely new exclusive illustrations for this game. Players can showcase their collection using binders or display boards to share their cards with the world. Battles can be undertaken solo against the CPU, with friends, or against other users.

The new event for Pokémon TCG Pocket begins today, 29 November 2024, and will run until 13 December 2024. If you’ve missed any news, we direct you to the main page of VGMAG. Below is the post announcing the new event.
